#81 The last of the evening sun

I’m not one of those people who wakes up and thinks, ‘Bring on the day!’ I have to have about 7 pints of coffee before I’m even remotely awake. But I love the golden hour in the evening, as hokey as that sounds. Just as the sun is about to set and you get those lovely shadows and everything looks gold and yellow.    Stacy London

#73 Oslo Up in Lights

Recently I had the privilege walking for Marquesse in the Let’s Summer Fashion Show.

This amazingly customizable outfit OSLO has 2 parts – the coat & shorts and the boots. The boot HUD has 5 colors to change boot, sole and laces. The coat and shorts HUD has 5 colors PLUS a color picker  – so the coat and shorts can be whatever combination you can dream up.

I chose to keep the boots and coat white and shade the shorts to pick up the pink in this amazing OLD Dragonfly Hair by Boudoir from the 2012 Crazy Hair Hunt.

I found this After Dark Butterfly Gown on the Regal Estates, and I am super impressed with the fit of a regular mesh size on my Lara body.

French Kiss, by Chop Zuey is the perfect complement, with enough options to make it a very versatile set.

The magic of this gown for me is the delicate filigree butterfly which makes a subtly fascinating focal point of the back.

#42 Fascinating work

I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

What use is a business suit in Second Life? I pondered this as I tried on this KITJA suit that I had walked past a few times at Kustom 9.

“Mem, you look just like a teacher!” I laughed, peered at myself through my teacher specs, …and, I bought the suit. So did my friends. I must ask them why they need a suit in SL.

The cleanly designed suit fits beautifully, has very nice detailing and there are several color options for skirt and jacket and a HUD for the shirt (black, white or grey).

The immensely satisfying details that make the outfit feel great:

Pure of Heart Dolphin Pendant (worn as a brooch) from Chop Zuey, Belle Rouselle donates 100% of the funds raised from the Pure at Heart Set to the World Wildlife Fund. (See the Lua Secret blog where she explains it beautifully.)

Steampunk heels are from Eudora3D they come with a HUD giving options for the main shoe, trim, sole, & metal.
