#83 New look Memory – raw

You don’t know this new me;

We can do this every day in Second Life – BUT I don’t.

I change my avie a little, to fit outfits or to achieve a certain ‘costume’, but big changes I only make maybe once a year, or less. I need to feel like me in my avie.

This time the change is into a mesh head, which you would think is no big deal – they have been around so long now that the next step – Bento- is already here. I have joined the ranks of folk who appear as detached floating parts before assembling into something resembling human form.  It has felt like a big step for me – but strangely many of my friends didn’t even notice!

These photos were quickly shot in Coastal Afternoon WL setting and cropped – to send in for a casting that I’d left till the last minute.

I was inspired by finding that pixivor Allen – of ALaFolie has released MESH body appliers for some of her most fantastic creations. I have a special place in my heart for this version of the gown she created for Miss Philippines (back in…. 2009?)  and several other treasured dresses. THANK YOU Pixi!

#52 magical morning

• There is something magical about the early morning. It’s a time when the world belongs to only those few who are awake. And we walk around like kings while others remain unseen in their beds.

Finding those moments in SL – when the crowds are asleep or elsewhere is like treasure. Sometimes the trick is to go early in the morning (hey- whose morning?) or else to wait till after the feeding frenzy of opening days has passed. The Secret Affair has lots of treasures – including body jewelry by several creators. Here I am only showing a couple of items – worn with the skirt part of a lovely VIP Exclusive from Carrie’s.

October Bouvier, from October4Seasons, has brought out new beauty products – 2 sets of eyeshadow and a set of lashes – give them a try. I am wearing Shamrocks from the Delight Eyeshadow set with my Jewell skin in Blossom tone. There are more photos on my flickr.
